HISTORY

Mystic Warriors - Ikari no Ninja (c) 1993 Konami.


Mystic Warriors é un picchiaduro a piattaforme a scorrimento orizzontale per un massimo di 4 giocatori, nel quale la malvagia organizzazione "SKULL" (teschio) ha conquistato il mondo e spinto i suoi terrificati cittadini a nascondersi. 5 guerrieri ninja decidono di distruggere SKULL e liberare il mondo dalle sue grinfie.


Mystic Warriors presenta 5 personaggi selezionabili, uno dei quali viene mostrato mentre viene rapito da SKULL una volta che i giocatori hanno scelto i loro personaggi. Quello che segue é 8 livelli di azione a piattaforme "corri e spara", con un boss che attende alla fine di ogni livello.


I giocatori sono armati sia di Shurikan che di una spada per gli incontri ravvicinati. Numerose casse sono sparse per i livelli (o vengono portate dai nemici), ognuna delle quali contiene oggetti bonus come potenziamenti per le armi o cibo che fa recuperare l'energia. Altri potenziamenti includono lo scudo invulnerabile (noto anche come lo "scudo Shinobi") che dura pochi secondi e una "bomba intelligente" che distrugge tutti i nemici su schermo. Alcune casse contengono anche oggetti che assegnano punti, come sacche di monete, gioielleria e oro.

King Records ha pubblicato la colonna sonora in edizione limitata di questo gioco (Konami Amusument Sounds '93 - Summer) nel 08/1993.
